Insiders was my favourite program for many years,,,thank you Barrie. Very prepared to give David Speers an open mind as he arrived highly acclaimed. His incredibly rude interviewing style makes me feel quite uncomfortable. He constantly interjects when people are answering a question, talks over people and really entirely inappropriate This Sunday interviewing Chris Bowen was terrible....Bowen asked if he could finish his answer but Speers kept on talking over him. For the first Insiders ever,,,,I turned off. Im a bit sad as I think it used to be a fabulous program. Mike Bowers segment wonderful. Step up and change David Speers - watch some Barrie reruns and learn how to interview well.

I mostly watch The Drum after checking who is on the panel. I think its a very good program and both Julia and Ellen are quite superb. My one big gripe is the ongoing bias of LNP panellists. Really out of balance, rarely a Labour person and never a Green. Those same former LNP people. Its quite predictable the regularity of their appearance. Whoever is organises the guests, please look at the out of balance format you are presenting.
