It Ends With Us could’ve been a much better movie by focusing more on the message it lazily tried to convey. It was a simple plot to follow, and I personally feel it did a relatively good job showing why it is hard for victims to leave their abusers. However this film feels too much like a cringey Wattpad story come to life to take its message seriously. It was fine, wouldn’t see it again and probably wouldn’t recommend it but it wasn’t the worst movie I’ve seen. I’ve also never read the book so it’s accuracy from paper to screen is not something I’m familiar with
