The movie may be inspired by the Bible but definitely not biblically accurate. Could have been a more powerful movie - and more emotional - if the director actually followed the Scripture of Exodus and not invented a different narrative. The most important part - the role of God talking to Moses - was practically omitted. Instead, a young boy that sounds and acts like the devil replaces God (a HUGE failure). I'm giving 2 stars for the special effects only. If you're going to make a religious movie, make it as accurate as possible and stop making things up in the name of artistic interpretation - unless you're filling up areas that are missing in the Bible to complete the storytelling experience.
