I believe I've watched this movie at least a dozen times. Every time I get lost within it's wandering, whimsical journey through history. As a fan of Monty Python and British humor it's a joy throughout.

If your a diehard racing fan you may have a problem with the actual racing portrayed in the film. If you are a dog(animal lover) then the racing portrayal can be acceptable. Beyond the aforementioned the film is very good family film. I felt that the ending was done well and was as upbeat as possible.
