Best graphics on the 360 and that's just for starters. Don't believe me, put it in, play it for a bit, then take it out and put in any of the other games considered to have good graphics. Such as codbo2, mass effect 3, forza, forza horizon, codmw3, or any other game on 360. They look dull in color and look like they're from a whole different gen. Then the detail of every tiny little thing on the screen at every given moment. The gameplay is very challenging, in stride with you, done right. Other games claim to scale with you but always seem off. The replayability, this will never feel like the same journey as a time you played before even if you go out of your way to duplicate your play style and decisions, something that in their Resistance series was Insomniacs only weakness. They not only fixed that weakness in Fuse but may very well have exceeded every other developer in that regard with this outing. The Echelon mode (survival/horde mode) ties into the career mode like no other. It is an insult, by the way, to call it survival/horde mode because it is executed on such a higher level than those modes. I am simply using those labels as a reference. It is never lazy. Other games are lazy in comparison, and that's not a knock on other games, it is just the scale of effort that went into this masterpiece. When you are in it and it is firing on all cylinders you can't help but ask yourself in the heat of battle, how is this 360 able to handle this, and so beautifully. The game is happening everywhere, not just in front of me. The A.I. is spot on, smart, quick, and effective. They will hunt you down. Not as evasive as Halo A.I. but aside from that better in every single way there is to be better. It has alot of rpg elements for a shooter and the invested skill points actually apply, they are not just claims that you can't tell the difference after you've invested the points. You are trying to save planet earth, so there is a clear objective, you're not running around playing a well made game with no clear good objective like the Souls series so there is a point in what you're doing. That's not a knock on Souls, the lack thereof is a disservice to people like me who loved Souls gameplay and desperately wanted to like Souls as a whole but unfortunately..well that's enough on that subject. The controls in Fuse are not intuitive in relation to almost all other games except maybe a little bit like Resistance, and the fact that they're not intuitive is a drawback. Due to that, you have get comfortable with the control scheme which may cause you to miss out on quite possibly the greatest game ever made if you are turned away by the lack of an immediate embrace of the feel of it. Everything about Insomniac is leader, not follower, and that is why the controls are like that. Insomniac didn't fail you. If you thought so, you failed to see the triumph. There are alot of games that offer so much more than people realize because people went in expecting something they didn't get so they missed the fact that what they got was so much more than they realize. Titles that come to mind are Dragonage II, Fable II, last and certainly not least Fuse(not Overstrike because it's not Overstrike). Insomniac we want another game. Give it intuitive controls so you creative geniuses can get paid, and take your rightful place at the front of the pack. Anybody who ever gave this game less than 5 stars either did not play untill the end or didn't like a challenge. EA and Insomniac, you really thought they came together and made a bad game? You played yourself if you put it in and took it out.
