DONT READ IT UNLESS YOU CAN HANDLE THE TEARS i am glad i did not read anything about the book before reading it, because it made the story so much more special. The chatacter Autumn, i relate to so much. I was a the weird girl in school who read alot,wrote even more. I am currently reading the other side of this story “if only i had told her” and i find myself crying only to know its coming & i cant stop it. I will forever read anything this women writes, hell if she wrote a grocery list id read it with gusto! I couldnt read anything for 6 weeks after reading, “if he had been with me”- it moved me that much. I wasnt ready to let go of Finn&Autumn I cried over the ending, i still was grieving when my husband showed me the second version.. and i now i have 2 favorite books that have caused the same deep affect on my soul. The last book that made me feel anything remotely of the same emotions was ellen hopkins . So again. If you like good light stories- this is not the book for you. This is a book you will need a box of tissues, a gallon of ice cream and your favorite blanket on the couch to get you through. 10/10 will read Again&again! (& have read it 4times now!)
