This is as if the writers and the creative team behind Strange New World, didn't watch Star Trek TOS and are in no way have a clear understanding of what the characters basic characteristics were. They have once more proved that only Gene and only the actors from TOS could understand the psyche behind each character and can relate to them. All the new writers, they cannot even decipher what each character represented by behaving in certain way in certain situations. They are just trying to utilize the old characters to pique audience's interest but changing their entire identity to be politically correct in today's world and in order to create TRP for their abysmal stories.
