Ethan Hunt

I consider myself one of the most obsessed fans of The Hunger Games series. I have watched each of the movies over 50 times each. I have also given assignments over The Hunger Games to my students in the high school I created. This prequel movie did not meet the standard set by the previous movies. While the film attempted to follow the books, it missed many key parts. Students and staff that did not read the book failed to understand many key parts in the movie. The film moved far too quickly early in the movie, not allowing for people to have a better understanding of Coriolanus' backstory. This ended up leading to some confusion among viewers as the film went on. Also, Coriolanus' complete shift in attitude toward Lucy Gray misses far too many transition opportunities to explain to viewers as to "why". Too many key details were left out, even in such a long movie. C- overall.
