BORING!!! I do not claim to be a Dune expert and I'm certainly not a movie critic (or at least a person who gets paid to critique movies). I have read the original book. I have the 1984 version on DVD. I nearly walked out of this movie because of how boring I found it. The only thing that kept me in my seat was curiosity. I think this movie was only slightly less boring than "2001 Space Odyssey."
