I liked the movie. The nervous tension never let up. I admire when artists can create a definite atmosphere when no words or few words are spoken. Other sensual means are used. The constant views of the cold scenery and landscape added to the isolation of the farm and family. The movie's place setting seemed an ideal place to raise a half-human, half-beast child. It meant no interference from the outside world. The threat, however, lurked within the farm.The ending for me was horrifying and a complete surprise.
