Having listened to the whole discography, this is the one I go back to. Absolute masterpiece. For me it’s a full-stop on the whole band’s musicianship that didn’t get any better in the follow-up albums. Controversial, I know, but as a 5-piece band this is the album. Perfect blend of rock, electronica, strings and youth. Not a bad song on it. Later albums are great but a little disjointed and fragmented. In Rainbows a very near 2nd.

That Mia Goth teary monologue towards the end elevates the film from slasher pastiche to true dramatic excellence. Goth’s film, and she co-wrote it. Looking forward to Maxxxine
