Walsh‘s film does a good job of illustrating just how little reason or common sense is underpinning the activist arguments. At its core, the movie is arguing that relating to, or possessing traits of, the opposite sex does not literally make one a member of that sex. One may find happiness living one’s life as if they were a member of the opposite sex, and in a free country, who’s to say that they shouldn’t? But that should not be confused with literally being a member of the opposite sex. The confusion over this distinction is what makes it so difficult for the interviewees to answer Matt’s basic question, and the inability to plainly answer that question opens a Pandora’s box of problems, ranging from men competing in women’s sports to forcing female prison inmates to share cells with male prisoners
