As one gets older the search for music to fill certain times of day becomes an interesting challenge ...a nice challenge. But what high quality album might fill the void when nothing seems quite right. This is one of those beautiful collections.
Pat Metheny is always a delight ...he has become my default artist when all seems muddled. His albums are all hugely rewarding escapes. But with Charlie Haden's bass arrangements and compositions here this is wonderful stuff.
