The first few seasons were amazing, I really enjoyed that they stayed at locations for multiple evenings and had longer investigations. Unfortunately, the newest season is not good. The actual investigation lasts maybe 10 minutes. It is mainly interviews, then they have a psychic, and a very small investigation. if something occurs, they usually are just like "oh wow" and move on. I do not recommend the newest season (season 3)

Really disappointed with this show. As someone who really enjoys true crime but also has a degree in criminology/criminal justice, I found the trailers for this so different from how the show actually is - which is really just opinions on opinions. Alina Burroughs has done some great work as a crime scene investigator, but all this show really is is flashbacks at past scene, and then current interviews with those involved and their opinions and thoughts on the crime. That's it. There are bits of science involved, but not nearly as much as you would expect from someone who did this as a career and for being a show from her perspective. If it does start to dig into some controversial evidence, or something big they noticed, there isn't much of an explanation. Nothing is shown, no methods are talked about, it is kind of just put out there and you do what you want with that information. It is brought up, talked about how it was controversial, then they just move on. A lot of this show kind of gets halfway to the point, then seems to just end it there and move on. So disappointing

I unfortunately was disappointed with this. I personally found that a lot of the key moments didn’t make sense. I will detail more below with a spoiler alert. However, it felt like this was solely there to set up the next movie, and you didn’t get much out of this. Spoilers ahead! The two big parts that bothered me the most included the firefighters scene and ending mob scene. It just didn’t feel realistic for Michael to kill all the firefighters there, and how they only ran at him one by one. Then they ending mob scene, how did it go from a mob of 50 people beating on him, to him then defeating 10 of them and walking away after being beaten so much and stabbed? It just was not realistic and I found that part really disappointing. Even if you try to assume he is somehow superhuman and excessively strong, it still didn’t make sense with that considered and how that many people disappeared. A lot of the deaths seemed to not make sense either, it’s just not fun anymore when he goes around killing anyone and everyone for seemingly no reason, compared to the first few movies when he had an actual goal. Overall, I was just disappointed. There were parts I enjoyed here and there, and it’s not the worst movie I’ve ever seen. But I would not recommend this.

I just want to say, don't read the spoiler reviews because the majority of them aren't true! There are a few twists at the end and you can tell some people stopped halfway through. It wasn't a bad movie, I am still happy I watched it and would recommend. Suspenseful.

Really good movie! I have always loved these types of mystery/crime movies, and this did not disappoint.
