I’m going to be honest for a second. American idol used to be good and finding talent and then it turned a corner and they don’t look for talent. They look for people whose lives are sad so people would vote for them and give them high ratings. Speaking from experience. Thousands were auditioning with me and only 5 made it. To me that is not fair. Let the people decide who is good and who isn’t. You can be the best singer in the world and you wouldn’t make it because you don’t have a sob story.
