Superb . Classic . I watched it first years and years back on Black & white TV in India , then in colour with video cassettes borrowed from a friend . Read all the four books of the Raj quartret of Paul Scott . British actors are a class apart . Every line , every expression is etched in memory . It's perfect . Even a cameo role is given complete attention .Daphne Manners , Susan and Sarah , of course Merrick , Hari Kumar , ( Harry Coomer ) and the delightful count Brunowesky are all etched in memory .

It's a lively , movie with great songs picturesque scenes and wonderful acting .

Very good . I like Pak TV serials a lot . Particularly about ordinary people . They are not too long and the acting and directorial skills are superb.

Humsafar was no doubt the Pak TV serial which when first aired on Zindagi Channel took Indian audiences by storm. The story unfolds gradually, and one doesn't realise the perfidy of some characters till almost after half the serial is over. There is ultimately poetic justice.I have observed this in most Pakistan dramas. Fawad Khan, Mahira Khan of course, steal the show. But Atiqa ( Asher's mother Farida Aunty ) and Behroz Sabzwari were also brilliant.
