This book is full of great information and inspiration to make our plots of land useful for supporting the biosphere. I appreciate the care and science that went into its writing and think it’s a very important book.
HOWEVER the writer refers to Indigenous Americans in the past tense, and based all his information on the work of dominant culture scientists. He didn’t once reference the fact that these People actually worked in tandem with the natural world to significantly alter and create many of the ecosystems in North America. He should edit and re-issue his book.
