Lacey Riley

I like watching lead females written as powerful, interesting and complex characters, especially if magic is involved. I found this series too messy and angled to those who are okay with brutality and shock imagery as a way to portray conflict. I simply prefer to have my protagonist conflict presented in other ways and through characters with clear arcs all under a brilliantly lit story. This fell short and took more effort than I want to admit to finish. Not my cup of tea unfortunately.

This show is deliciously well-written and casted with refreshingly skilled actors and is a so much fun to be a fan of because it gives us what we want along with what we didn't know wanted.
