I was honestly pretty disapointed with this movie. Sure the effects and sets are cool. I did really like the wardrope also. But I have a problem with the story itself. As someone who is very interested in Egyptian mythology and studies it quite a bit, this doesn't match up at all. It would have been way better if they stuck to the original myth of Isis, Osiris, and Seth. Also the cast feels very random. I do like the visuals though. It does give the feeling that this is an Egypt where the gods still rule. I didn't like how they changed the afterlife either for pure stories sake. Even though I had a lot of problems with the movie, it was entertaining. I don't think I'll watch it again but it was interesting the first time though.
