I'm writing this in February 2021 while we are still in global lockdown. I saw that it was being re-shown by Netflix and I was eager to see it again. This time around, I'm watching it with new eyes. I'm making comparisons with what's been going on since the end of 2019. Two and a half minutes into episode 1, my curiosity leapt when Darius was on stage, speaking to the audience and he mentions global incidents and one of them was a pandemic. That piqued my interest immediately. Now I'm well into the second series, (season, I'm British,) and we've already had the unmistakable comparisons to Elon Musk. There's been mention of the Tanz communication satellite network. The failed rockets, the successful ones, even a Mars rocket. We even saw Darius running down a corridor to watch his rocket lift off in true Elon Musk style. We've seen lockdowns and panic buying, etc. I'm almost tempted to ask if the writers were somehow prophetic and were working from crystal balls. All we need now would be for Elon Musk to become Vice President to the former returning administration. Now, that would be something eh? On that note, a further season 0r more would or could have been very interesting.
