Brilliant timeless, classic whodunit, with a supernatural twist. Set in romantic and this time gothic Venice, right from the start with dark birds set against a stark, stormy, forboding affair! With lots of torrential rain to add further to the gloom and sense of foreboding, a stellar class play their roles exceptionally well. I strongly recommend seeing this movie. It has palpable atmosphere in spades, some brilliant cinematography, and the acting is solid, with deep humane, believable character studies and insights, making you think they nearly all could be guilty except Poirot!. This is a movie you must see on the big screen for full impact.
