This is one of my altime favorite shows. I love mystery, the 1900's, and shows that highlight strong female characters. There is realistic drama and love interests, but no sappy and/or steamy romance, which I also like. The main character, Eliza, is incredible. She is determined to create a successful career for herself as a female detective and stays strong while the men around her drop off.
