I swapped from TV1 recently because I got tired of the constant laughter and wiser than thou attitude. Also although I am a speaker of te reo, I was unsettled by TV1 using it to the extent that it would initiate resentment in those who can't understand it. I also find TV3's morning show has better choice of news items, and interesting discussion and interviews.
