As a fan of the game, when I saw the start of the movie I was a little taken aback, but it quickly drew me in and thoroughly enjoyed the time spent watching it.
For the movie critics, not everything has to be some artsy piece, we the people watch movies for the escapism and not to be bored to tears with monologues.
