What is this movie... This movie does the book zero justice. If you came to watch this expecting a masterpiece like the book, turn around and run. If I could go back and forget the movie altogether I would without question. I expected parts to be cut out or minimized to make the movie work but there is almost no relations to the original book whatsoever. I don't even care about spoiling this god awful movie, so here's the rundown. The characters look nothing how they are described, wade isn't all that poor in the oasis, i-ROk is a mercenary who works for IOI, Wade and Samantha, and Shoto and Daito and Aech meet each other YEARS earlier in some rebellion against IOI, Samantha's reason for winning the egg is completely different, Aech is completely different, the plot are completely different, like there is almost no relation to how anything actually plays out, and the keys challenges are totally different, The first key is hidden in a car race, the second is hidden in a dance about the shining, the third is hidden behind the atari games. This movie was an absolute embarrassment to the book. If I could do less then 1 star I WOULD.
