I really enjoyed this game, the graphics are great, engrossing story with 2 talented actors in your character and his eventual sidekick. Yes the game has bugs a plenty, the story has tricky parts but having just Platinum’d the game I’m really glad I didn’t listen to the publicity around its faults and even happier I got it for free on PS Plus. Try it. I don’t really play horror games but this was more than that.

If you’re a fan of previous Wolfenstein games then you will enjoy this. I played solo with my twin sister being played by AI as this is a Co-op game. I agree with some critics on the repetitive gameplay as you tackle missions all of which take place in 6 or so areas filled with Nazi soldiers and robots. As I’m trying to get the platinum solo mastering all weapons, missions and collectables is becoming a grind as I’m only 40% complete but I love the enemies and usual Wolfenstein weapons to mow down the Nazi’s. It’s a 4/5 for me with grindy trophies losing it a star.

A story and cinematic story to rival any movie. You play as Ellie, a young girl living in a world decimated by a mutant fungus that turns humans into various zombie-like monsters if bitten. Ellie was bitten and is immune. Joel the other main character is charged with taking her to a hospital across the country to maybe create a vaccine. The journey is long and the bond that grows is nurtured by the devs in this game and becomes as strong as the graphics and gameplay itself. One of my favourite games ever released. Bravo Naughty Dog!

Super sequel, continuing story of Aloy and her companions trying to save the world filled with machines. Can’t wait for the third instalment.

Fantastic game with a really great storyline. The first of an expected trilogy I think. You get used to the controls of Aloy, your character, and the environment quickly. AAA+++.
