They are trying to draw lines of similarities between the two main female characters. At the moment just into season 4 I’m not happy with it, but I love this show beyond its clear pushing of certain social and political schools , its bright and open, sunny, no laugh tracks, and awesome great vibes in all the bits of music in the show. I absolutely adore Jean Smart , and while rt into season 4 I’m not liking the turn it took , and I can’t relate to Ava and often find her annoying, I think you’re supposed to , and that’s her being great at her character. Some found it depressing, yet I watched it and rewatched it to help fight depression. The sunshine, the fast pace , the great music. Love it !
