I have not been able to finish this show. Not sure I will. I read so much about it that I thought I should try cuz' Lee Min-ho. His character is played to perfection & I actually think that, despite his incredibly good-looking face, he is actually a very talented actor. However, some of these earlier kdramas are incredibly misogynistic & tend to normalize verbally & emotionally abusive relationships & behaviors & BoF is one of the worst in those areas. Also, does anyone else have trouble with Jan-di's incredibly awful eating habits/manners? Actually, I think bad table manners must be accepted/acceptable in South Korea because many characters in kdramas have horrible table manners. Anyway, I keep getting stuck on the misogyny & bad table manners & have not gotten past the episode where Jan-di follows Lee Min-ho's character to some exotic country & Lee Min-ho's character almost marries someone else.

This show has it all as far as I am concerned . . . Unique story involving supernatural elements, good supporting cast . . . Lee Min Ho.

"Tastefully Yours" is "Totally Terrible". The "acting" consists of yelling. Only redeeming thing in this horrible #kdrama is Kang Ha-Neul but even he is not enough to save this show.

Currently on episode 13 & I am struggling with this show. I am bothered by the gaslighting on the part of the ML. He does it to the FL several times. He's supposed to like her & he's not being honest about telling her she has really seen what she has seen like him stopping the car from going over the cliff. True, he does eventually tell her the truth. Also, not nearly as good as "Legend of the Blue Sea" IMO & the ML has kind of a flat affect in my opinion. Honestly, he reminds me of the ML in "The Bride of Habaek". No emotions contrived or otherwise ever show on his face & this guy is supposed to be in LOVE. ❤️

This one started out slowly for me but I stuck with it & it has turned out to be one of the better kdramas I have watched in awhile. Ji Chang-wook is a good actor. Park Bongsu was brilliantly played & so was Healer but especially Park Bongsu. I also really liked that when Yeongsin & Healer got romantic it wasn't as sanitized as most kdramas would do. Heck. Healer & Yeongsin actually "woke up" together in bed the next morning NOT in the same street clothes they were wearing when they took the relationship to the next level. The story that weaves it all together has enough mystery to it to keep it interesting. I am not bored at all which can happen easily when you watch a lot of kdramas. 4 stars because the last episode seemed abrupt in concluding the series.

One of my favorite kdramas & not just because of Lee Min-ho. I loved the concept of parallel worlds & I liked the HEA-ending where they travelled together between worlds. That would be fun to do with the right person. However, despite the great story, lead characters & wonderful supporting cast (think Woo Do-hwan), TKEM fails like pretty much all kdramas in the area of conveying believable romantic love between 2 people who are allegedly passionately in love. I continue my search. 4stars cuz' Lee Min-ho but it seriously lacks in conveying passionate love between 2 people. I continue my search for a #kdrama that does this well.

Some might like this kdrama. The "romance", if you can call it that, is based on attempted smouldering looks & weird interactions between the alleged romantic partners. Habaek specializes in bland looks that are supposed to convey passion & love I THINK but the gazes just seem blank & empty to me. Yoon So-ah specializes in crying alone. The Bride of Habeak has all the pieces usually present in kdramas that I enjoy . . . Supernatural elements, interesting supporting cast, good humor @ times but it doesn't work for me. Do people in #kdramas who allegedly love each passionately ever sleep together in anything but street clothes? Why is passion so sanitized, in general, in #kdramas? This one is one of the worst for that. I liked the inflatable castle that Habaek & Nam Soo-ri lived in at 1st. 2 stars for potential & the actor who played the character of Biryum.

This show is terrible. One star only for having Gong Yoo in the terrible show.

I started watching it & wondered why so many people gave it good reviews. I quit watching it cuz' I didn't like it at all. Then, I went back to finish it. I remember I watched all the episodes but I remember nothing about the plot and/or the alleged romance. Enough said.

A very likeable piece of kdrama fluff. It has supernatural plot elements which I usually really enjoy & I did in this show as well. The thing I remember the most, however, about this show is not the romance between the main couple but Kang Tae-oh's portrayal of Lee Hyun-gyu.
