I have never really understood why Star Wars “fans” have to bash anything following the first half of ROTJ. This Star Wars hating fandom has been going on since TPM came out. First it was “George Lucas ruined my childhood” to “Disney has ruined my life” hey toxic fans; get one (a life) if you hate everything Star Wars then quit watching it. Simple. I don’t like the Transformers series so I simply don’t watch it. I don’t bellyache about it and run around telling everyone I can get to listen how their opinions are wrong and I’m right. Why these fans think it’s cool to hate everything Star Wars I’ll never get. It seems like out of all SW those fans only like 2.5 movies and think everything else is trash. Now has everything Disney era Star Wars produced been gold? No. (Rise of Skywalker) but for fans that have loved everything Star Wars since childhood this was probably the one series I was looking the most forward to. It has not disappointed at all. I can see how a casual fan might not get some of the nuances,I still think it would be good without already having gone down the rabbit hole. With that said the excitement in me that they have very specifically name dropped “Heir to the Empire” has me salivating. My only thing for KK and Lucasfilm; just recast the young Luke & Leia already. It’s unavoidable and the toxic “fans” will just have to get over it. They trash reviewed Solo but in the long run it has held up better than some other entries. And give us Mara Jade! (Shin 🙏)
