I'm a 12 year old boy and i love books this book is like pounding in my head even though I've read it.so the boy starts off in Krakow, Poland because he's a Jewish and at the time there were racism on jews so he's enslaved and sent to several different concentration camp and 2 death marches' thought reading the book put me into a place where i wanted to be friends and experience this with him I highly recommend this book. this Jamear signing off alpha one.

I really enjoyed this book the way they showed how many things Ashley delt with because of the white kids she had to play with though I'm a African American Boy i enjoyed this book. I highly recommend, This is Jamear signing off alpha one.
