I feel like this amazing book needs to be taught at every school in australia especially nsw because it gives a deeper insight into being an arab australian and how it feels growing up as an arab in sydney. I laughed at this book so much and enjoyed it to the point i told everyone about it and my friends told me yes we get it you’ve said it around ten times today. It was so relatable and its very inclusive of cultures and teaches the audience about what kind of culture arab or more specifically lebanese is. As an egyptian growing up in sydney around lebanese people and australians whenever im told that were going punchbowl or bankstown i automatically picture a mini lebanon. Now although theres a dangerous side to it, as there is to every area that has teenagers living around, this book highlighted that and didn’t lie about what punchbowl is like. and it was so funnnnnnnnnyyyyyyy i couldn’t stop laughing
