Honestly ignore the majority of those 1 star reviews, most of them are from people who don't even own the game and are simply just hating on it because it's "another cod game".
I am so surprised that the one time we get a call of duty game that isn't riddled with bugs on launch and a surprisingly brilliant campaign, that this game is getting the hate it is (again most of that hate coming from people who have had no experience with it).
The multiplayer is incredibly well done and the guns are so satisfying to use, the campaign and it's cutscenes are very well done and you can tell that Sledgehammer have been working on it for longer than a year or two and finally the zombies, sure it isn't the traditional round based maps we are so used to but we will eventually be getting those sometime during or just after season 1.
The beta wasn't great with it only having a few maps and many obvious issues but i was surprised to find out these issues had been fixed by release.
I've noticed a trend over recent years of many people joining bandwagons to hate on games, movies and tv shows that they simply dislike because of previous installments almost as if they don't think the developers can bring it back. Those of us that still had hope in this game have been pleasantly surprised but we're finding it hard to get the message out there that this game isn't as bad as people would expect a call of duty game to be.
