Yes, the costumes were beautiful and amazing, as were the vocals. But like... How can everyone just get past the fact... That the "hero" of the story... Created a sentient being... For the express purpose of personal material gain... And then ignored it... And never at any point learns from that... In fact he just does it again? It's like no one even read Frankenstein. Maybe it's a "me" problem that I couldn't get past that plot point. But beyond that, the movie was painfully slow and the character growth and plot development didn't feel natural at all. Also, I struggled to root for the guy that created life just to abandon it 🙃
