As a huge quiet place fan, this was painfully boring.

Entertaining but i really hated the main character and her moral high ground

The audio production is terrible. Made worse by everyone whispering and mumbling so you put it on full volume then they cranked the bullet shot noises at max volume

Best movie ive ever seen. James Cameron as always uses breakthrough tech but places the story and characters at the top. Perfect every way

Wow what an awesome movie. No boring bits. First 40 min slow but interesting dialogue and character building. Then it goes crazy afterwards. Every character was likeable - even the antagonists.

Best tv show for 2021 for me. I liked this better then Squid game. I think if you liked World War Z, you will like this.

Really difficult to understand what the characters are saying. Apparently this was a deliberate creative choice by Nolan. I understand sometimes directors mix the sound in a way that conversations are difficult to hear as the emphasis is not on the content of the conversation. Typically, this is done when the conversation topic is obvious through context or not that important. But many conversations that were crucial to the plot were difficult to hear. And understanding the plot here is super important. Compare that to old 007 movies or typical The Rock movies where the plot is more or less not that important (kill the badies) - you can still enjoy the movie. Then you add this to a movie that is already dealing with a complex topic. It wasnt just a simple "stop the terrorists from detonating a nuclear bomb" topic. I literally walked out half way through the movie because I had zero idea what was going on.

I didnt like this but dont think its necessarily because of the same reasons others have put in. I think there is a point that the writer is trying to say. Mob mentality, religion, good and bad etc I think those are valid points that makes you want to think. However, I dont really watch shows to make me ponder about those themes. I watch it for entertainment. But rather than getting entertained, I found myself getting frustrated and angry at what the protagonists do. I started hating on the protagonists more than the bad people. It was just a generally displeasure to watch. I didnt care about the protagonists characters and felt like they were stupid. Even in the unrealistic world of this show, there were many unrealistic things happening. I mean, things should be believable and plausible within this fake reality. I kept saying "no, people wouldnt do that". Ive seen some reviews saying the storyline was so predictable. Thats far from the truth. It was absolutely unpredictable. Its not a typical storyline. So two points for that perhaps. I just hated every character there.

A good show overall. A bit corny but acceptable. Many things are simplified appropriately to get the story moving along. I really hate the psychologist though. What an insufferable character that adopts the cliche psychologist. I would give this show 5 stars but taking one off for him. Then you have the season 2 characters, important ones, who just vanished in season 3?! What the heck happened to Kendra? Lyor? Leo? Mike? Why arent there names ever mentioned in s3? Ill tell you why. Lazy writing. One star removed for this. Theres also the complaint that the so called independent characters here are actually left leaning characters. As a centrist myself, i would agree the show was pretty much a long campaign reel for democrats but that didnt bother me too much.
