It's over-produced. If you pay attention, they're more interested in awesome camera angles as well as lighting rather than do some form of "ghost hunting." At one point, one of the guys is opening a barn door from far away. Then, out of nowhere, the camera is right next to the guy opening the barn door. That means he waited for the camera guy to come up and film him opening the door again. Get inside the buildings and they do the same thing. This isn't a movie...
Stop with the dramatic shots and pro camera work and I'd be interested. Watched one episode and I am no longer interested. Short YouTube home video of paranormal activity is much more interesting because it's raw and real or at least more believable.
