It's an okay-it'll-work kind of movie.
Plus points:-
Storyline was awesome. Graphics is also nice. The music, black and white tone of gorr is also nice. Christian Bale's acting was phenomenal. I love the way the story went from caring father to "all gods must die" saying of killing spree. Jane Foster's comic origin and her sacrifice was nice to see in the movie. Her action sequences were also awesome. Loved the way Jane's death affected thor a lot. New character aka Gorr's daughter, an incarnation of eternity. I loved the comic accurate design of eternity and his presence in this movie. Involvement of celestials, death, infinity and watchers.
Negative points:-
1. Could have increased the time for Gorr, who's the heart of the movie.
2. 75% of the movie comedy, rest part serious. Didn't feel like it's a Thor's movie, rather than a GOTG comedy movie.
3. Could have used the brutality of Gorr, highly underused character.
4. The movie had the potential to be better, but instead became a mixed emotions with confusing reviews.
5. Sometimes felt like lame dialogues, poorly delivered.
Rest all good.
Now, since Zeus' embarrassment will become the reason for long time rivalry between thor and hercules, I felt more better comic issues will come to live in movies. Especially, when Zeus said, "there's a time people feared for thunderstorm and rain, but now gods became superheroes. Since when Gods became such a comedy. They need to be taught, the fear of zeus, when thor odinson will fall from the skies."
Maybe this is the time, Thor will be much more serious character from Thor 5 onwards.
Thor's post credit scene has potential for upcoming storyline
1. Thor vs Hercules
2. Introduction of new character: Beta ray bill
3. More deaths, more losses. Destruction of new asgard. Odinforce introduction and the journey towards Rune King Thor
4. Rune king Thor vs Dr. Doom.
These are some of my personal choices. Thank you, signing off.
