Excellent adaptation of a book. Great acting.. If you like movies with dramatic themes and court scenes and fighting for the underdog then you will love this movie.

An interesting watch. Worth watching until the end as it is both a mystery of past and present and,although it has slow moments, all of the characters have both the past and present to recon with and the small town dynamics and hidden truths eventually surface with some surprises along the way. The difference in the way families and individuals have dealt with loss, the unknown, and how they interact with their differences in perspectives, secrets, and personalities is well written and acted.
