The Unholy grips the viewer from the start, whilst providing essential character background. Sam Raimi perfectly set-ups a sinister and creepy atmosphere, and Jeffrey Dean-Morgan plays the role perfectly. 2020/2021 produced a lot of bad horror movies, but this is one that shouldn't be missed! 5/5 stars!
