The films good quality I’ll give it that, but it’s no way near as good as the original. The play itself is too “extra” and and goes beyond the point of the previous film. Although In the original Mary poppins there was magic but the plot was better and made more sense, the second film sorta made sense but sorta didn’t and tended to drag a bit. I don’t think it’s a bad film I just think it could have been a lot better than it was. The original Mary Poppins was great for all ages whereas the returning film is really only entertaining for younger audiences and I found myself bored.
