I don't get the hype on this outside of the industry folks. It has some very funny parts, a freshish take on A Christmas Carol by Charley Dickens, and is all in on the musical part - but there are too many left turns, it runs too long, and injects some unnecessary adult tones (seriously - the GCP had sex with RR?) I'm sorry but the never ending auto-tune and confusing plot turns that never really redeem RR's character (outside of the very end dance number) were just too much for me to call this a new classic. I mean this is way way over the top and I'm glad it's employed so many artists - but it's not universally received enough, IMO, to be called any kind of classic.
