This game is excellent and is now my new top favorite (sorry Sonic Colors DS).
The gameplay is great (even if I am not the best), the story of Shadow Generations is even something that I'd 100% appreciate any day. Although the challenges are a bit annoying (Sonic Generations) and are meant to help stick around (red star rings, rescuing Chao) , the levels by themselves are full of fun. Not to mention, the extras and songs to unlock are of what I'd say a great addition.
Overall, I think this is the best Sonic game so far, excluding Sonic Frontiers.
