I don't understand all the negative reviews of High Town. As a resident of Western Mass who visits The Cape every single year, I think it depicts the very real lows of the opioid crisis, along with a candid, raw depiction of what it is to be involved in the drug trade. Stop comparing the other roles some of the character's played on other shows; This isn't Chicago Fire and wasn't meant to be! You would probably enjoy the show if you let go of what you think it should be like or how the actors/actresses roles should be portrayed...I can appreciate the profound personal struggles each character is dealing with. Sorry tourists, but The Cape isn't just fairytale ferry rides to Martha's Vineyard and sunny days on the beach....I thought they did a great job portraying the flamboyant and free-spirited nature of P-Town.
