Very disappointed with this film. The locations of the SW coast path were not linked with the miles the couple walked, and although it is a very beautiful part of the world I didnโt think the photography (although good) ,gave the credit it deserves.
I understand the film was a true story of a major life change for a couple in their fifties. However, very little was explained of how they became homeless, who Polly was and where she lived and for me quite disturbing how the husband became โwellโ having had withdrawal symptoms from stopping his medication!
The medication Pregabalin is given for a number of different nerve complaints. It is a serious medication and although it is possible in some cases to come of it, it has to be done in a very controlled way.
In some cases it is not possible to come of it, it keeps the person well and out of pain. They canโt become well , as in the film by walking a coast path !
The drug should not have been mentioned by name. A very serious error, as many people taking Pregabalin, will feel.
Not a film I would recommend, I understand what it was trying to say, but said it very poorly.
