While it’s not perfection, it’s the best Sonic game SEGA has released in literal decades! I grew up on Sonic, and am in love with the characters and overall story, so finally having a game where the story got me INVESTED, and the characters felt RIGHT? It’s like a dream come true for my dumb little Sonic nerd side! I really hope SEGA can continue on this trend. It feels like they’re finally setting up something like Sonic Adventure 1 and 2. Characters? 10/10 Story? 10/10 Gameplay? Can always be improved upon, but a solid 8/10. It’s got replay ability too! If you’re a big Sonic nerd like me, I highly recommend the game!
