The movie is wonderful with graphics but doesn't satisfy the essence of SciFi. How could earth be projected to be so underdeveloped in this 2030, and if not for the erratic time travel tech from the future... The future tech looked also from 2002 tech on earth. No drones, no laser guns, no unnamed defences. No multi cultural technological approaches. Trying to find balance between family love life, high-tech, military and futurism with the movie timeline was some what impossible for them to project a helpless earth of the future considering available defence techs of this erra.... No big company players from China, USA, Canada, Germany.... I think a more elaborate form in a seasonal movie with a complete rearrangement of the plot will be more reasonable..... Then, the monsters from the movie: Great wall, with same communication method and matriarchal colony pattern, the ultra loud sound wave used in communication... I think great wall tells the story better than tomorrow war ....
