Everyone does a good job with the acting. The grandma is adorable. But bad story. Don't understand why Deborah is wrong in trying to help a bright young girl into a nice school with scholarship. Why must the mother who supposedly loves her daughter so much, deprive her from having a great future and instead force her into a life like her own.
