I just finished watching P6 and then read the recent reviews. Yโall hit it on the head, this has become an un-funny drama (who still thinks itโs funny). The tone and pace of the dialogue had slowed to a crawl...an agonizing and predictable crawl. โLukeโ had the chance to grow into a solid character; however the writing is dark, and the jokes all fall dead with literally awkward silence trailing every conversation. Clearly they were rebirthing Rooster but it fell morbidly short. The writing was inconceivably dark, slow, and itโs like a 13 year old who hates her life and her family wrote the story. When Lisa Newman and Joanne are the best you can hope for (after Beau if it needs to be said) then The Ranch has lost its soul. Banter between the brothers, brothers and the dad, and Dale and Beau was the foundation and its clearly lost on the writers who had a great thing going and were as moronic as they made Colt out be...I guess it takes one to write one.
