i LOVEEEEEE the sims, but it actually gets to a point. I have been playing for around 7 years consistently, I constantly talk it up, and I see it as a calming thing for me. Well that all changed with this most recent update. I am now in college and wanted to relax - after the first week in an engineering major, well the sims updated. I play with mods so I tried to go offline on EA app, whoops missed it. Oh well, can't be that bad, right? So dead WRONG. I tried opening my game, takes forever (not normal), then I actually get into the game and I cannot load into the lots, it just takes me back out to the world selection. I look up all the error codes I get and I finally see, oh its just the update. How are you going to keep asking customers to spend $40< on DLC that causes save files to corrupt and that should already be base game, then make updates that cause the game to crash. Why are there so many bugs on a game that cost $1,500 for everything. That's actually absurd. Also the fact that so many people feel the need to turn to CC/ mods to do things that you guys won't do is frustrating. I will obviously keep playing but it is so annoying to constantly like we aren't heard and having the anxiety of losing all my progress over 7 years just because of an update.
