Not too bad, there’s been worse MCU movies. But it does not live up to the previous 3 captain America movies in any form. No one in this commands the screen like Chris Evan’s or the old Ross actor. Action sequences can be great at times, but really bend the physics and plot armor for what the shield can do in the hands of a normal guy. Pacing is bad making for an overly complex plot, combined with many cringe one liners and side characters no one cares about . Glad to see Bucky and Sam have real dialogue and some hope for the future

While it pulls camera work and ideas from the prequels, it does not live up that splendor. From subpar acting to robotic looking choreographed fight scenes, it is a tougher watch. Perhaps there is hope for better episodes later in the untapped high republic era for film. So far it just seems far fetched from canon and previous movies. Three Jedi losing to a cloud of sand while their best asset and main character was just chilling somewhere else with the stun blaster? An open flame on a ship in the vacuum of space ? The main villain being revealed 15 minutes into the show? Suicidal Jedi? Scenes and dialogue that contradicts typical Jedi ways? Hoping for the best.
