I read the book first. Loved it. I pictured the characters very differently, but I absolutely loved this movie. Yes, it was cheesy at times, but I feel they followed the book very closely. I felt all the emotions. Of course, I knew what was coming & everything so I wasn’t frustrated this time lol. I love that it was cheesy though, it doesn’t have to be so serious. It told the story just as well. I recommend reading the book first, then watch this. All the feels will hit you.
